Ceremonial activation of the MeteoriteGongs within the continental rift of Iceland, developed by artist Pauline Fabry. In this unique geological environment, where tectonic plates meet, sound unfolds in direct relation to the elemental forces of the Earth. These ceremonial concerts take place at powerful sites across the planet — from volcanic landscapes such as Mount Etna to the continental rift — where place, sound and presence interact and open distinct experiential spaces of listening, perception and resonance. Within the broader creation path developed by Pauline Fabry, these activations are connected to the MeteoriteGong Creation Roadtrip, where the gongs are formed in direct relation to the elemental forces of the Earth and later activated within these powerful environments.
